Previous articles in this series have covered several non-pharmacological interventions (NPIs). The first article discussed the relevance of examining evidence of effectiveness for influenza pandemic mitigation in the context of the current COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, several NPIs were discussed. Subsequent articles have discussed additional NPIs.

In this article, I will discuss the evidence for effectiveness of the following interventions:

• Avoiding crowding
• Internal travel restrictions
