First, I will introduce and discuss some fundamental concepts pertaining to diseases (infectious and otherwise).

Next, we will look at evidence informed healthcare- what it is; what the sources of evidence are; how to assess/ grade the available evidence, etc.

Then we will apply those principles to specific questions of clinical importance across diseases.

In order to adequately discuss these topics I may refer to documents available in the public domain; or cite reputed sites. Readers are encouraged to actively participate in the reading to obtain maximum benefit.
